Atmosphere and surroundings

Chalet Bull has been lovingly renovated with a cosy Swiss/Nordic mountain cabin style vibe. With its warm fabrics, wallpapers and furnishings, you will instantly feel at home and relaxed.

The neighbourhood, called 'Winkelmatten', is known locally as the 'Beverly Hills' of Zermatt.. with stunning chalets, choice restaurants, and beautiful surroundings, all set in a peaceful setting close to the forest edges - benefitting often from glimpses of deer and other wildlife. Aside from the one hotel, Cervo, at the other end of town, it is the only area you can truly call Ski-in Ski-out in peak months of the winter season.

The small local chapel, 'Zur Heiligen Familie', is located just minutes away and is often chosen by couples as a place of marriage. Right next door is an exiting play area for children... and in winter you can say hello to the sheep, quietly taking shelter in the on site wooden 'gadi'.

While just 25 minutes to walk to town, this area is well linked to the rest of Zermatt by the free and regular 'red line' bus. Just 2 stops to the nearest ski lift, Matterhorn Express, and 5 stops to the center of town.
